Summary      
William Reid Kilpatrick was the son of John and Mary Kilpatrick. He was born on 8th March 1883 in County Tyrone. He was one of at least ten children. His father died when he was young. His mother ran a boarding house in the Moy. William was a boot and shoe salesman. He emigrated to South Africa. ck was serving with the 2nd Regiment of the South African Infantry when he was killed in action in France on 8th December 1917.
