Thomas Samuel Chambers was the eldest son of Sarah and William J Chambers. Lance Corporal Thomas Samuel Chambers served with North Irish Horse as part of the Royal Armoured Corps in World War Two. Lance Corporal Thomas Samuel Chambers was killed in action at Cassino, in Italy on 23rd May 1944. Thomas ‘Tommie’ Chambers is commemorated on the family headstone in the Brackaville Church of Ireland Cemetery.
