TO BE CONFIRMED. There is a Sergeant John McDonald, of the Cycling Corps, listed in Presbyterian records. He is listed as having lived in Granville, Dungannon and been part of the congregation of the 2nd Presbyterian Church in Dungannon. These records show he died of wounds. This is the best match so far. However, no link has been found to relate this Belfast man to Dungannon.
Belfast (Dundonald) Cemetery is on the Belfast-Newtownards road. Opened in 1905, it covers 45 acres and contains war graves of both world wars. The 1914-1918 War burials are scattered throughout the cemetery.
