George Henry Wright was the son of Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Wright. George Henry Wright was born on 30th August 1895 in Ballyboy, County Tyrone. He was one of ten children, all born in the Caledon area. Samuel Wright was a farmer. Gunner George Henry Wright was serving with the 14th Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery when he died of wounds on 23rd July 1917.
