Henry Robinson was the son of Henry William and Martha Robinson (nee McLoughlin). Henry was born about 1887 in Co Tyrone. The 1901 census shows Henry as 14 years old and still at school. Henry’s family had a grocer’s and newsagent’s shop in Caledon. Henry and the family are living at house 52 in Main St, Caledon, Tyrone. The CWGC records Henry as the husband of Rachel Ellen Robinson (nee Cochrane), of 12 Walmer Terrace, Ibrox, Glasgow. Sergeant Henry Robinson was serving with the 7th Battalion of the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) when he died at Gallipoli on 12th July 1915. He was aged 28.
From Helles, continue on the road to Alciptepe and the cemetery will be found on your left. It is on the west side of the Krithia - Sedd el Bahr Road, approximately sout-west of "The Vineyards". It faces south to the entrance to the Daranelles and is surrounded by a belt of shrubs.
