Summary
Archibald Mossey was born in Augher on 26th May 1881. Initially Mossey he later used the spelling Massey. He live in Augher and became a postman. In 1903 he married Sarah Godfrey in Belfast. They had six children, five been born in Dunmurray, near Belfast. Private Archibald Massey was serving with the 9th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme on Saturday 1st July 1916.
