02/09/2021 The CWGC record Private Mitchell McFarlane as the son of Uriah and Lizzie McFarlane of Ballygawley.
02/09/2021 Private Mitchell McFarlane was buried at home in Killeeshil (St. Paul) Church of Ireland Churchyard, which lies midway between Dungannon and Ballygawley.
02/09/2021 It appears that because he never served in France, he did not have a medal card.
02/09/2021 Private Mitchell McFarlane was serving with the garrison depot of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he died of influenza / pneumonia at the Military Hospital in Omagh on 1st November 1918.
