24/03/2025 Anthony Hall was the son of Joseph and Jane Hall. There is a GRONI reference to a Joseph Hall and Mary Newell getting married on 14th August 1883 in the district of Dungannon.
24/03/2025 Anthony Hall was on born on 4th July 1890 in Ballynakelly, Coalisland. He was one of at least six children, all born in the Coalisland area.
24/03/2025 Known family: Joseph Hall, Jane Hall, Thomas James Hall (born 23rd October 1884), Joseph Hall (born 25th March 1886, died born 30th March 1886, age 0), George Hall (born 25th September 1887), Anthony Hall (born 4th July 1890), Jacob Hall (born 6th May 1892), Joseph Hall (born 22nd April 1894).

24/03/2025 The 1901 census lists Anthony as age 11, living with the family at house 16 in Tullyhugh, Tandragee, County Armagh. His parents were publicans. The bar may have been called the ‘Cyclists Bar’. It was also ‘Maddens Inn’.
24/03/2025 Anthony Hall emigrated to Australia. Records state he was 20 years old when he arrived in Australian, so it would have been around 1910.

24/03/2025 Anthony Hall enlisted on 23rd August 1915 in Sydney. He gave his occupation as labourer. He listed his father as his next of kin.

24/03/2025 Private Hall embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A17 Port Lincoln on 13th October 1915.
24/03/2025 Private Anthony Hall was reported missing in action on 26th June 1916.
24/03/2025 Private Anthony Hall was serving with the 53rd Battalion of the Australian Infantry when he was killed in action on 19th July 1916. He was 26 years old.
