It should be noted that there is another William James Stratton in the Dungannon listing. The other W J Stratton (Service No 16132) also died on 1st July 1916. He is listed as hailing from Killyman, County Armagh. He served with the Royal Irish Fusiliers and is commemorated on Thiepval Memorial. |
