30/12/2015 The CWGC record Lance Corporal John Rose as the son of John and Margaret Rose of 1 Rylstone Road, Eastbourne.
30/12/2015 Lance Corporal Rose has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial.
30/12/2015 Lance Corporal John Henry Rose was serving with the 4th Division of the 1st Battalion of Rifle Brigade. When he was killed in action in France on Sunday 2nd May 1915. He was aged 24.
