17/10/2021 James Moynagh was the son of John and Bridget Moynagh. John Moynagh and Bridget McIlhinny were married on 20th July 1898 in the district of Dungannon.
17/10/2021 They had one child, John, born on 8th June 1893 in Fivemiletown. Sarah died two weeks after giving birth, on 22nd June 1893, aged 23.
17/10/2021 James’ father had been married previously. John Moynagh and Sarah McIlhinny were married on 27th July 1891 in the district of Dungannon.

30/12/2015 The 1911 census lists James as age 13 living with the family at house 3 in Annagh Demesne, Fivemiletown, Tyrone. John was working as an assistant gardener (probably for his father).
30/12/2015 Private James Moynagh enlisted in Enniskillen.
30/12/2015 Private James Moynagh had been No 2739 with the Connaught Rangers for a time.
30/12/2015 Private James Moynagh was serving with 'D' Company with the 7th/8th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action in France & Flanders on Thursday 16th August 1917. He was 20 years old.
