In the 1910 Ulster Town’s Directory, Isaac is listed as a coachman. Isaac was living in Killylea, Co Armagh when he enlisted in Belfast. Lance Corporal Isaac Busby was serving with the 12th Battalion of the Royal Irish Rifles when he was killed in action on 15th August 1917 in Belgium.

Isaac Busby was born on 1st October 1879. He was the second of five children, all born in the Caledon area.

The 1901 census lists Isaac as age 21, living with the family at house 4 in Kedew, Caledon, County Tyrone. Isaac Busby is listed as working on his father’s farm.
Isaac Busby and Agnes Girvan were married on 11th August 1909 in the district of Armagh. It is believed they had one child. Herbert Busby was born on 6th May 1914.
In the 1910 Ulster Town's Directory, Isaac is listed as a coachman.
The 1911 census lists Isaac as age 30, living with his wife at house 1 in Caledon, County Tyrone. Isaac was listed as a coachman and domestic servant.
Isaac was living in Killylea, County Armagh when he enlisted in Belfast.

Lance Corporal Isaac Busby was serving with the 12th Battalion of the Royal Irish Rifles when he was killed in action on 15th August 1917 in Belgium.
Last will and Testament of Lance Corporal Isaac Busby dated 14th June 1916:
In the event of my death, I give the whole of my property and effects to my wife, Mrs Agnes Busby, Killylea, County Armagh. Signed Rifleman Isaac Busby, 18th Royal Irish Rifles.
Lance Corporal Busby has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial at Ypres (Ieper).
Isaac Busby is commemorated locally on Dungannon War Memorial.
