Summary      
Robert Williamson was the oldest son of John and Mary Jane Williamson. He was born on 28th May 1893. He was one of seven children, all but one born in the Caledon area. His father was a railway labourer. Private Robert Williamson was serving with the 2nd Battalion of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment when he died on 28th October 1918. Private Robert Williamson has no known grave and is commemorated on Tyne Cot Memorial.

Robert Williamson was the oldest son of John and Mary Jane Williamson. John Williamson and Mary Jane Hadden were married on 6th April 1886 in the district of Dungannon.
Robert Williamson was born on 28th May 1893. He was one of seven children, all but one born in the Caledon area. Catherine was born in St Helens, England.

The 1901 census lists Robert as age 8 living with the family at house 12 in Curlagh, Caledon, Tyrone. His father, John Williamson, was a labourer. One of his sisters was born in St Helens, England.
The 1911 census lists Robert as age 16 living with the family at house 2 in Derrycourtney, Caledon, Tyrone. Robert was still at school. His father was a railway labourer.

Private initially had the Service No 48349 with the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. He later had the Service No 202014.
Private Robert Williamson was serving with the 2nd Battalion of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment when he died on 28th October 1918.
Private Robert Williamson has no known grave and is commemorated on Tyne Cot Memorial.
Private Robert Williamson is not listed on Preston War Memorial.
