Summary
Henry Alexander Love was the son of William and Emily Love. Henry was born in Clogher, County Tyrone on 2nd April 1889. He was one of at least nine children. The family emigrated to Australia before 1911. Henry Love enlisted on 31st December 1915 in Lismore, New South Wales with the Australian Infantry. Private Henry Love embarked from Sydney on 17th May 1916. He disembarked at Devonport, England on 20th July 1916. On the 29th October 1916 he proceeded overseas with the 41st battalion. Private Henry Love was killed in action a year later on 5th October 1917.

Henry Alexander Love was the second son of William and Emily Love (nee Cathcart).
Henry was born in Clogher, County Tyrone on 2nd April 1889. He was one of at least none children, the first eight been born in the Clogher area.

The 1901 census records 'Harry' as age 13 living with the family at house 5 in Knocknabrass, Crum, Fermanagh. William Love was a byre man. A byre man was one who raises or tends cows. Harry was still at school.
The family emigrated to Australia.
Curiously, Henry Love has two Attestation Papers, both signed on the same date, completed identically with different handwriting – one signed by Harry Love, one by Henry Love (same signature) . It may be that he signed the first one as Harry and the Australian authorities filled another out for him and asked him to sign with his birth name.
Henry Love enlisted on 31st December 1915 in Lismore, New South Wales with the Australian Infantry. He gives his age as 26.
Henry gives his occupation as farmer. He gives his next of kin as Mr William Love, father, Camira L K, via Casino, New South Wales. He was not married.
Private Henry Love embarked from Sydney on 17th May 1916. He disembarked at Devonport, England on 20th July 1916.
On the 13th October Private Love was transferred to the 13th Battalion. On 27th October he was transferred to the 11th battalion. On the 29th October 1916 he proceeded overseas with the 41st battalion.
Private Henry Love was reported killed in action a year later on 10th October 1917. He was actually killed on 5th October 1917. Henry was 26 years old.

Private Harry Love, Australian Imperial Forces, brother of Mr John Love, Belmont, Belfast, killed in action on 5th October. The deceased was born in Clogher Park, County Tyrone.
