Summary      
Charles Fullerton Stewart was the son of William and Sarah Black Stewart. He was born about 1922. Flying Officer Charles Fullerton Stewart served with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Flying Officer Charles Fullerton Stewart was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal in May 1943. He was with 582 Squadron. On the evening of 29th August 1944, Flying Officer Stewart was part of the crew of a Lancaster which took off on a night raid targeting the port of Stettin on the German - Polish border. It crashed in Denmark.

Vorupor is a small town on the west coast of Northern Jutland, about 45 kilometres north of Lemvig and about 19 kilometres west of Thisted. Follow the main road into the village, then take the turning signposted to Sondre Vorupor. The cemetery is a short way along here on the right surrounded by a white wall.
