Samuel David Wylie was the son of Joseph and Susan Wylie. He was born about 1922. Samuel Wylie was the husband of Jeannie Wylie. Samuel joined up before the outbreak of war and had served in India, Iraq and France. Fusilier Samuel David Wylie was serving with the 2nd Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers in Sicily when he died of wounds in Sicily on the 19th July 1943.
