Summary
Thomas Patrick Lambert was the son of William and Helena Lambert. He was born about 1920. He was the husband of Bridget M E Lambert. Lance Corporal Thomas Patrick Lambert was serving with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he died on 18th January 1944, age 24. It is presumed that Lance Corporal Thomas Patrick Lambert died during the Battle of the Garigliano (17-18 January 1944) in which the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers suffered heavy casualties. However, Lance Corporal Lambert is not listed on the Garigliano Memorial in the Inniskillings Museum.

Take the autostrada A1 from Rome to Naples and leave it at the Cassino exit. At the junction of this exit and the road into Cassino, is the first of 6 clearly visible signposts to the cemetery and memorial.
