Michael John Herron was the son of Thomas and Catherine Hoey. He was born about 1920. Fusilier Michael John Herron was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he died between 18th – 19th April 1942. Fusilier Michael John Herron has no known grave and is commemorated on Face 11 of the Rangoon Memorial, Myanmar / Burma. He is commemorated locally on Dungannon War Memorial.
