Summary      
Joseph Sheridan was the eldest son of Joseph and Mary Sheridan. Joseph was born on 17th May 1883 in the Augher/Clogher area. The family moved to Belfast. By 1901 he was living with the family at Getty Street, Belfast. Joseph was a pricer. Private Joseph Sheridan was serving with the 7th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action on Sunday 28th May 1916. He was 33 years old.

Summary      
Philosophe lies between Bethune and Lens. From the Lens-Bethune road (N43), follow the D165E road for 400 metres to a right turn. The cemetery lies to the left 100 metres along this track. The first CWGC sign for the cemetery is at the junction of the N43 and the D165E.
