Samuel Montgomery was born in Dungannon. Private Samuel Montgomery was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Highland Light Infantry when he died on Tuesday 18th April 1916. Private Samuel Montgomery has no known grave and is commemorated on Basra Memorial in Iraq.
