John J Hall enlisted in Aughnacloy. Private John Hall was serving with the 1st battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was in France & Flanders. Private Hall died from his wounds on 3rd June 1916. He was 19 years old.

The 1911 census lists John as living with his mother at house 2 in Fingerpost, Aughnacloy, County Tyrone. his mother was a widow.
John J Hall enlisted in Aughnacloy.

Private John Hall arrived in the Balkans on 11th July 1915. He survived the Gallipoli campaign.
Private John Joseph Hall was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was injured in France & Flanders.
Private Hall died from his wounds on 3rd June 1916. He was 19 years old.
In his will, John left all to his mother, Mary Ann Hall, who was living at Caledon Street, Aughnacloy.
Last Will and Testament of Private John Joseph Hall dated 18th May 1917:
In the event of my death, I leave all my belongings and effects to my mother, Mrs Mary Ann Hall, Caledon Street, Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone, Ireland. No 11354, Private John Joseph Hall, 1st Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. 18th May 1917.
Private J Hall is commemorated locally on the WWI Roll of Honour in Aughnacloy Presbyterian Church.
