Summary      
Robert Marlow was the son of Mrs. Mary Marlowe. Robert was born in Aughnacloy, Co. Tyrone about 1894. Robert Marlow enlisted in Belfast.Private Robert Marlowe was serving with the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, with the Depot, when he died at home on 30th October 1918. He was 25 years old. Private Marlowe is buried in Belfast (Milltown) Roman Catholic Cemetery. The CWGC records Robert as the son of Mrs. Mary Marlowe, of 36, Whiterock Crescent, Belfast.

The following, down to the birth of Robert, is pure speculation!
Robert Marlow was the son of Mrs Mary Anne Marlowe. She initially married Michael Marlow.
Michael Marlow and Mary Ann Foster were married on 22nd February 1878 in the district of Dungannon.
They had one child. Michael Marlow was born 21st July 1879 in the Aughnacloy area.
It seems Mary Anne’s husband, Michael Marlow, died on 3rd January 1879 in the Clogher district, aged 25.
Robert was born in Aughnacloy, Co. Tyrone about 1894.
Known family: Mary Anne Marlow, Michael Marlow (born 21st July 1879), Joseph Henry Marlow (born 24th August 1888), Margaret Jane Marlow (born about 1891), Robert Marlow (born about 1894).
The 1901 census records Robert as 7 years old. The family were living in Ravellea, Aughnacloy. Mary Marlow is listed as married, but her husband is not resident at that time.
By the time of 1911 census, the family had moved to Newry, County Down. Robert was no longer living with the family. His mother was now a widow.
Robert Marlow enlisted in Belfast.

Private Robert Marlowe was serving with the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, with the Depot, when he died in Belfast on 30th October 1918. He was 25 years old.
Robert's brother, Joseph Marlowe, also died in the war. Trooper Joseph Marlowe was serving the Otago Mounted Rifles when he was injured at Gallipoli. He died on board the hospital ship, H.M.H.S. Aquitania on 22nd August 1915, just two days before his 27th birthday. He was buried at sea.
Private Marlowe is buried in Belfast (Milltown) Roman Catholic Cemetery. His inscription reads: ON HIS SOUL SWEET JESUS HAVE MERCY
