Thomas McCluskey was the son of Thomas and Catherine McCluskey. Thomas was born about 1892 in County Tyrone. His father was a railway labourer. By the time of the 1911 census, Thomas was 19. He was working as a spinner, working in a mill. Thomas McCluskey enlisted in Omagh. Private Thomas McCluskey was serving with the 6th Battalion of the Connaught Rangers when he was killed in action in France on 3 February 1916. He was 25 years old.
