Summary      
Daniel Donnelly was the eldest son of William and Jane Donnelly. He was born on 17th July 1886, one of at least eight children. He was born in Dungannon. The family moved to Belfast sometime between 1891 and 1894. By 1910 they were living in Getty Street. William Donnelly was a carpenter, Daniel was a cabinet maker. Private Donnelly arrived in France on 22nd August 1914. Private Daniel Donnelly was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Royal Irish Fusiliers when he was killed in action on Saturday 14th November 1914.
