Robert Thomas Taylor was the son of William Taylor. The CWGC give his mother’s name as Rachel. Robert was born about 1893 in Drumglass, Co Tyrone. Robert Taylor enlisted in Dungannon. Private Robert Thomas Taylor was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he died of wounds in France on 3rd July 1916, age 23.

Summary      
Gezaincourt is a village a little south-west of the town of Doullens, halfway between the main roads from Doullens to Abbeville and Doullens to Amiens. The Communal Cemetery and Extension are on the east side of the village. There is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission signpost outside Doullens on the road towards Amiens.
