Summary      
Walter Augustus Montgomery was the son of Thomas and Margaret Montgomery. Walter was born on 19th February 1899 in Moy, County Tyrone. The 1901 census shows Walter Augustus as age 2 living with the family at house 23 in Grange, Moy, Tyrone. By 1911, Walter’s mother Margaret had died. The family was now living in Farlough, Tullyniskane, Tyrone. Private (2nd Class) Walter Augustus Montgomery was serving with the Royal Air Force, 2nd Air Park when he died of disease near Boulogne in France on 23rd November 1918, age 19.

Summary      
Terlincthun British Cemetery is situated on the northern outskirts of Boulogne. From Calais follow the A16 to Boulogne, come off at Junction 3 and follow the D96E for Wimereux Sud. Continue on this road for approximately 1 kilometre when the Cemetery will be found on the left hand side of the road. However, it should be noted that the entrance to the cemetery is in St Martin's Road, which is the road on the left immediately after the cemetery.
