William Archer was the son of Edward and Emily Archer. William was born on the 12th July 1882 in Caledon, County Tyrone. William Archer emigrated to Canada and was working as a lumberman before enlisting in March 1915. Private William Archer was serving with the 87th Battalion of the Canadian Infantry when he died in France on 24th March 1918. William was 37 years old.
